Those who have not chosen sides yet realize that they must do so now. The next calamity is on its way to earth. A 1000- mile wide asteroid, two in fact, one made of rotten wood, the other of sulfur.

Apollyon: The Destroyer is Unleashed, is the fifth book in the series. Further judgments are released on the world and those who are still on earth are finding it harder and harder to survive.

Believers can now see a sign of God on other believer's foreheads. This works nice for the story line in the series, but it confuses me a bit. I have never heard Christians being able to recognize other Christians by a mark. The only mark I have ever heard about is the mark of the beast. It is driving me to the study of the scriptures though, to see if I may have missed something along my journey in Christ.

Another thing I'm not so sure about in the book is Buck and Chloe try to decide if they want to have a baby. Now, if a person is truly living in the end times, (and knows this for a fact; i.e; the rapture), I believe the last thing on your mind would be starting a family and bringing an innocent baby into the world during the violent end.

Even though I don't agree with some ideas of this book, it's still a very good read. Toward the end of the book, a swarm of locusts is unleashed. The cliffhanger, as in each book, leaves you ready to move on to the next book in the series.

The sixth book, Assassins:Assignment:Jerusalem, Target:Anti-Christ, continues the thrilling read. The world is half-way through the trials and tribulation. The focus now is to try and kill the Anti-Christ. But we know from scriptures they will succeed. That will enable him to raise from the dead, and then claim to be God himself.

The story revolves around who will be the one to assassinate him.

Meanwhile, Hattie Durham leaves Nicolae and tries to convince the Tribulation Force that she is a new believer. She now also claims she wants Nicolae's life as much as the good side now, since he got her pregnant and attempted to terminate the pregnancy. Those in the Tribulation Force are afraid she's compromised their hide-out.

Meanwhile, the two witnesses are preaching God's wrath and promises on the world at the wailing wall, trying to awake those still sleeping, that this is indeed the end of the world, and they must turn to God now.

The mark of the beast is now enforced upon people's hands or forehead. They are not able to buy, sale or trade without it.

In the real world, many think the mark of the beast is already in fruition. In Europe, they are now placing a chip in people's hands, which has all their personal information encoded in it, as well as it is used much like a credit/debit card. I encourage all to refuse this chip, shall it come to you. The mark of the beast can not be made any clearer.
