Standing for doing business the right way is very important in real life and on the internet. Often we tend to believe the stories that we hear online about how someone was scammed, stolen from, or otherwise lied to online. These instances are isolated and random, but I will say that the internet is a wide open entity. All things are possible on the net. You can do business the right way, or if a person chooses not to handle their business properly they could become thieves and liars and scam artists.

This brings to my mind an actual story that happened to me just today. I had a lady call me and was asking about my SEO services. We began to talk and right up front she says, "how do I know that I can trust you?" I like that attitude. Why, you might ask? I operate my online promoting business right down the line. I provide a service and I get paid handsomely for that service. I think business online should be conducted as if we were facing the people face to face. This is the way I conduct my online affairs.

I told the woman about what I could do for her site, the positions that I could get for her on Google, the way I run my business and mentioned the guarantee. I also told her to Google my name. Check out some of the things that I am currently working on. If a person is doing something online, that will show in Google. That is a very good way to see if they are the real deal, or possibly to spot a problem.

Operating a successful online business is the greatest in the world. There is no where that offers more chances to make real money and do it honestly. I think that it is time for people to unite and say that there has been enough hype and lies and scamming, and we won't stand for it any more. When you enter into a contract with a person and tell them that you are going to provide that service to the best of your ability, then do it! Don't try to lie, steal and cheat. That will ultimately come back and haunt your forever.

We continued our discussion and the lady evidently was liking the way I spoke to her about the fine art of search engine optimization. She told me that a few of the companies she had contacted about SEO services were very arrogant and rude and she chose not to spend her money with them. I agreed. I have talked with hundreds of people online. One of my rules is that I always treat people with respect. I am here to build a successful online business. I am not here to take money from them for my own gain and walk away. Standing up for something that you believe in takes guts. I am willing to lay my reputation for quality SEO service on the line when I am dealing with people.

Taking back the internet and doing business the right way. Treating people with the respect they deserve is very important. Ok, so you may be the best at what you do, but if you come across like some self-professed legend, you might as well pack up your computer and send it back to the factory. You will never build a strong business online with that attitude.

There is one thing for sure, you may never meet the people that you work for online. But you know what? That does not matter to me. I treat everyone online as if they were important and I want us to build a business relationship that will last a lifetime. In my opinion, that is the way to build a successful online business. Shortcuts and deceit will never work.
