Are you looking to improve your golf swing technique? Full golf swing videos can really help...but...they need to have these key elements in them, or you're wasting your money! If they don't...keep looking...you'll find the right one!

Golf Swing Fundamentals

Every good golf swing starts with fundamentals! Even the pro's work on them at their level. If you don't have these down, you need to get them right by watching a golf video that covers them in detail.

The fundamentals I'm talking about are basically grip, stance, posture, ball position and spine tilt. These critical elements must be in place! When they are, you can go on "auto-pilot" with them, and focus on the shot at hand.

Golf Drills

Every good golf swing video has drills that work on swing faults, again fundamentals, and overall swing motion. These drills help you ingrain in your head how to make a proper swing, and more importantly how to correct one when it goes south on the course.

For example, if you all of a sudden start slicing the ball, you can go back to a drill you know helps that, and even do it right on the course before your next swings. This will get your body moving correctly, and eliminate that slice from happening again during that round.

Faults And Fixes

As mentioned above, every full golf swing video should have a section covering the most common swing faults, and drills on how to correct them. Swing faults like slicing, hooking, chunking and topping can be easily covered by 1-2 drills per fault.

These drills need to be simple and easy to apply so you you can get on with your game. I think some of the big name instructors are so use to working with pros, they forgot what it was like to be a 20 handicap golfer.

So remember...golf instruction videos need to cover the basics mentioned above...that's it!
