Bubble Frame FX Tutorial

Hello & welcome to the tutorial!

1)     Let’s get started. Open up a file. I have opened following file.

2)     Now go ahead and make a copy of the layer. Now your layers palette will look like as shown in the following figure.

3)     Now grab an Elliptical Marquee tool and make a selection as shown in the following figure. If you are using other image for this tutorial then make a selection on an area which you want to create bubble of.

4)     Now go to Filters -à Distort -à Spherize and apply it to 100% Settings. Now your canvas will look like following figure.

5)     Now hit Control+Shift+I or make Inverse Selection and hit DELETE from Keyboard.

6)     Now your layers palette will look like following figure.

7)     Now hit Control+D to deselect the layer and change its position as shown in the following figure. Make sure to resize the image.

8)     Now apply a Drop Shadow and Stroke effect to this bubble layer. Feel free to play with different settings.

9)     Now go ahead and tweak few settings to great amazing looking effects.
