There are many times in our lives when it seems something is pointing us in a particular direction. Maybe in a direction we have heretofore not considered. This sense of something pointing us comes into our thoughts and dreams and is echoed in the songs we hear, the articles or books we read, the conversations we have—including with unlikely people—maybe even someone we just met.
Many of you have heard the expression, “Messages from the Universe.” These messages sometimes do not make sense in the ‘real’ world, but inside, they resonate in a surreal, but profound way. Maybe you sense you are compelled to move to a different location, although your life where you are now is perfectly fine. Or maybe you have the desire to pursue a new career—one that you had not considered before—but you have a strong sense of making a change.
When these unusual thoughts and dreams persist, it is important to discover if they are ‘Messages from the Universe’ a.k.a. your higher self. You need to take the time to get in touch with your higher self, your intuitive self. Your higher/intuitive self is sensitive to ‘Messages from the Universe.’ The more you are in touch with your higher/intuitive self the easier and more readily you will know what the messages are. Being open and listening to your higher/intuitive self creates a sense of empowerment unlike anything else. As you open and listen to your higher/intuitive self you will learn the action steps to take to accomplish what you sense you are being urged toward.
Once you make the decision to pursue your inner urgings, the universe is already in motion creating the means for all details to fall into place. A sense of knowing and peace will envelop you, because you know that any questions will no longer compel you to wonder if your dreams are possible. You will simply know you can do it. Instead of deterring you from your goals, these questions serve to clarify your focus to move forward. It is not necessary to throw caution to the wind to follow this compelling knowingness.
The positive shift in your energy once you are in tune with your higher/intuitive self sends you in the right direction. Like a rush of water, this unseen energy goes ahead to clear debris from your path so that you can move forward. Your new attitude also attracts likeminded people. Sometimes even the most unlikely angels arrive to help you along the way with the information and support you need.
Wherever your dreams are pointing you today, take the first step. Remember how a child learns to walk—the first step has to be taken—and notice that no matter how many times the child falls down, they get up and continue to forge ahead. Like a child learning to walk—continue taking action and manifest your inner urges and soul whisperings.
