Create a new spark this Valentine’s Day by trying something different; leaving your loved one with a romantic note. Although this may come across as juvenile at first, the young are the ones who often have a very vibrant love life so take a “note” from their actions and apply it to real life to put the spark back into your love life this Valentine’s Day.
Pick up some stationary that evokes the sort of sentiment you want to get across. If you want to be lovey dovey, pick up some heart covered notepads or if you want to be a bit more provocative, get some sexy stationary in black and write your note in metallic gold or silver.
Now that you have written your little love note, you may not know exactly where to leave the thing so that the dog doesn’t destroy it or the kids don’t read it before your significant other reaches it! You’ve already started the creative process so continue on and get creative with your hiding spots. The “hidden” aspect of the note is one of the most appealing parts of the entire thing!
To get you going here are some simple seductive locations to leave your love note.
- On the shower mirror! What’s better than getting a steamy shower, stepping out and seeing a love note written on the mirror?
- Inside your loved ones lunch pail.
- Inside your loved ones favorite glass or coffee mug.
- On top of a sandwich you made especially for them.
- On the remote control (particularly good for the television loving man!).
- Under a pillow. A bedroom pillow is a particularly feisty way to go here.
- Safety pin it onto the inside of their clothing. They may be irritated by the pin but only for a moment.
- In our technology savvy world how about a text message or email with a photo to boot?
- On the seat of their vehicle or in the sun visor. Flowers on the dash are always a nice touch too.
- Using bath crayons for kids, you can leave a note inside the shower, as long as you know it will remain for your lover’s eyes only!
- Send it in the mail to your home or to their office. They might appreciate some mail that is not bill related!
Keep an open mind when writing and concealing. After all, there are more than one way to say “I Love You!” so why not make your way a personal one?
