1. La Sagrada Familia is a church made by Gaudi, it’s his last work and made in the end his life. It is a true masterpiece. One side looks like a classic church and the other has a more modern art look. The church could be finished a long time ago. But it’s not because it’s completely build out gifst from the citizens of Barcelona. When you’re there you must visit this church. 2. Parc Guell is a beautifull park in Barcelona and it’s named after a man called Eusebi Guell, who gave the assignment to Gaudi to restyle that area. Gaudi accepted and made a very big Park inspired by forms from nature. When you’re in Barcelona and if you want to see a combination of nature and art you must visit this for sure. 3. La Ramblas is named after the word Ramla from a foreign language, and that means sandy riverbed. It was a sandy riverbed but now it isn’t anymore. Now it’s a shopping boulevard where you can see several things. Like mimes, drawing artists and more. If you like shopping or just want to see the centre of Barcelona then this is the place to go to. 4. Museu Picasso is a museum about Pablo Picasso, who was a Spanish painter. Picasso has done some art studies in Barcelona. And this museum is a major tourist attraction and attracts many tourists to Barcelona. 5. Barri Gotic was surrounded by city walls and is the oldest part in Barcelona. Now the walls are gone, and there are only very big streets. There are many things you can visit there like Cetedral de la casa L’Ardiaca or Paulau del bisbe (what stands for palace of the bishop). And Museu Picasso is very nearby so maybe you can combine both visits. 6. La Pedrera is build for Roger Segimon and is a design from Gaudi. Architecture is best described as unconventional and the building is a landmark in Barcelona. So go and see for yourself.
7. Montjuic is a big hill, and that’s how it got its name it means Hill of the Jews. When you want to take pictures and have a great view on the city, this is the place to go to. 8. FC Barcelona Museum is great when you are a soccer fan. It’s a museum about one of the greatest clubs in the world. Also the Dutch guy Johan Cruijf is very famous man in Barcelona. Maybe you can also see things about him in this Museum. 9. Tibidabo, when you stand on this mountain you have the best view over the city and the coastline, so this is also great for pictures. On the mountain there are a lot of things to visit, there is a great amusement park, a church a temple there is much more to see so find out for yourself.
10. Parc de Joan Miro is a parc named after a famous Catalan painter, sculptor and ceramist, called Joan Mirro I Ferra. The park is home of his art, and if you love modern art this is the place to go to.
