Everybody wants to be heard. In fact, there is a common belief that its human nature to talk about himself. Well, if this is the case then it would not suffice to talk only to a person or two but to a couple of people to listen to your stories.

We all dread the feeling of talking in public. Have you asked yourself why? Apparently, there are no good reason why such should be the case except for the excuses and self-made fears from observation and from our past experiences.

But there are many who thrive of the art of making speeches, there are people who are born with an innate gift of an powerful voice and even stronger ideas, such people make the great speakers of mankind, and most of them turn to be in high positions in the public office, in many leadership roles and on the stage.

What can a simple person, wishing to make it through a university presentation, or simply to succeed in a regular job interview, learn from the greatest speaker of our time, and how can it be used to make a better speaker out of anyone in this world, is the main question that we ask, and it is our belief that almost anyone with average intelligence can turn into an above average speaker.

Some people may claim that people have become famous in public speaking simply because they have the confidence and knowledge enough to be so certain of their ideas within everybody's hearing. Yes, public speaking could be a good combination of wit and self esteem. But have you ever given it a thought that even the famous public speakers were initially afraid of the stage itself?

Public speaking is not something that you are born with. It is something that you must develop. If, as a child, you were oriented that a speech in front of a couple of people is something you must be anxious of then you might find it hard to realize yourself in that very manner. However, if you have been trained to express your views without regard to what criticisms or opinions other people may throw at you, then you are sure to thread the path of confidence in speaking well publicly.

There are various types of public speakers though. And for each type of speaker is a specific technique of public speaking. There may be some general guidelines as to how to speak publicly but eventually it is the natural styles of the actual speakers that rule.

Say, many famous public speakers work well with crack-a-joke-first style. This often works well in catching the people's attention but this does not warrant the success of the speech or the joke itself. Unless the speaker truly delivers his joke well, he will find it very easy to keep the attention of the public by cracking up a joke once in a while.

The possibilities that a good spear have in the modern market are very impressive, from the regular college or university presentations to being head of public relations departments and political parties the ability to give a good speech is widely appreciated.
