Author Guidelines

 Excellentguide is free article directory of  reprintable articles. We invite authors to submit quality original articles to our growing database. We strive to maintain the highest quality of reprintable content. Please read the following guidelines and terms of service before submitting your work.


Article Guidelines: 

• Your article should be between 500 and 5000 words long. The 500-word minimum requirement is waived for submissions to the Recipes and Poetry sections. Exceptions for submissions to other categories are considered on an individual basis.

• Your title should not contain more than 200 characters.

• Your article summary should be one to five sentences in length.

• The body of your article should not contain more than five links, and none of them should be blatantly self-promotional.

• Your resource box should not contain more than three links.

• Your article should be free of grammatical and spelling errors.

• Your article should not read like an ad. Use your resource box-- not the body of your article-- to promote your business or website.

• Your article should stand on its own, i.e. it should not require the reader to click on a link to get to the main content.

• Avoid too much hype in your resource box.  The purpose of the resource box is not to sell your readers something, but to lead them to your website which does the actual selling.

• Include your resource box within your article.  Your biographic information will not be appended automatically to your article.

Author Terms of Service:

By submitting your article to Excellentguide, you agree that:

• You are the copyright owner of the article.

• You allow others to reprint and republish your article, unedited and in its entirety, along with your resource box, on both online and offline mediums without prior permission. 

• Your article must not promote hatred, racism, or bigotry of any kind or contain libelous statements against any party. Excellentguide reserves the right to reject any article for any reason.

• Neither Excellentguide nor publishers of your article are required to pay you a fee for re-printing your article. If you are seeking payment for use of your article, please do not submit your article to us.
